Support for ALT Tech

I'm going to start trying to provide better support for ALT tech platforms. I already have Rumble and Odysee channels, however, I stopped uploading to them due to receiving next to no views. Recently though, I received an E-mail, with the sender telling me how they enjoyed my videos, and thanked me for uploading to other platforms.

I do think YouTube needs a competitor, so I will do my part, and take the time to render acceptable versions for other platforms. My channel is tiny, and this makes very little difference, but if we all ignore ALT tech, there will never be a genuine competitor.

Merry Christmas everyone, for the Christmas Special this year, I have picked a personal favorite. On the surface, Snowboard Kids is a cutesy battle racer, but as with most things in life, scratch below the surface, and there is something very different to be discovered.

I really enjoyed replaying this game. In the retrospective, I go in to the good the bad, the reception at the time, and of course, give it a Wranker Score. I hope you enjoy the video. If all goes to plan, there might be a Christmas bonus on the way.

Snowboard Kids Playthrough

I have just published footage from my playthrough of Snowboard Kids for the N64. As always, it was played on real hardware, and captured in 4K.

This playthrough is for the latest video I am making, a How Good Was It? on Snowboard Kids. It's going to be the Christmas episode, and will hopefully be published in the next couple of weeks, but definitely before Christmas. I have also written 2 other scripts, which I will get to editing after this HGWI, so, plenty of content in the works.

The Evolution of Survival Horror

This one took a while... as in seven months. I really have put my heart into this one, and I'm really happy with the final result. I did consider saving it for Halloween, but the project had already taken too long and I wanted to move on to something else.

In this video, I take a look at the history of survival horror, and try to define what games shaped the sub genre. I go through the different generations of consoles/computers, looking at the pop culture influences and documenting, my interpretation of the evolution of survival horror.

New Video Update

The first draft script for my next video is done, after a redraft, I will start editing, and this time, the video will be in 4K. It's a video I have been working on for a long time, on and off, and it is going to be in the same mold as my first video.

On a side note, just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone that watched my new Sonic HGWI video and subbed to the channel. This was my most successful video to date, and this week has seen over 150 subs join the channel, which for me, is massive.

Reuploaded Playthrough

I decided that after I removed the videos from my “Plays” channel, I should reupload this to the main channel. This is the RAW playthrough footage I captured for my first Review to a Kill video on 007 Racing. It was captured before buying a RTX 4090 and Avermedia 4K live gamer capture card, so unfortunately, it was recorded in only 1080 and not 4K. Still, it might be useful for anyone that needs gameplay footage, and it's perfectly watchable at 1080p. I will be working on a new episode for that series, but that will be on hold until I have finished some other videos I’m working on.
